On Medication

I, like many others, take medication for a mental illness. For the most part on the internet people do nothing but complain about how awful the medication they take is, how it ruins their life, and how the pharmacy companies don't care about people and all that good stuff.

For me, the medication is a god-send. Without it, I would undoubtably been killed by now, or be spending the rest of my life in a treatment facility for dangerously insane people.

Yes, it makes me sick sometimes, yes I sometimes have horrible reactions to it. I have at least one hyperactive organ which means I have a massive alcohol and medication tolerance. I have to take massive doses that apparently would stun a horse.

But I look at my quality of life without it. How bad things would be if I didn't take my medication.

And I have to say, I prefer my life with medication than my life without.
